Katie Verges was born and raised in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.  She attended Georgia Tech, where she earned a B.S. in Chemistry.  After college, Katie moved to the west coast to attend graduate school at the University of California, San Francisco where she worked in Jonathan Weissman’s lab.

 

Katie currently works an associate for McKinsey & Company where she serves clients in the health care industry in both strategy and operations.  Katie’s recent clients include hospitals and hospital systems, health plans, physician groups, and biotech/pharma companies.
